I started shopping from september onward for this lovely day which was to come..from tops to jeans & to sandals.. i shopped beforehand keeping up the tradition which has existed since my memory started activating :)..
1st Oct finally came... was soooo tired that i could not keep my eyes open!! i slept at 10 thinking that i would anyways be woken up by this gadget called 'cell' & people in the spirit of an undeclared competition will be the first ones to wish me!!
I see mom and dad coming to wish me at 12!! As usual.. my sis being one of the first ones to wish me.. she called!! i go out in the drawing room & half blinded by my sleep i feel my dad, mom & grandma hugging me!! then i see a small pastry on my dining table.. i eat it and see a box next to it.. a box which was gift wrapped!! I open it only to see a SONY CYBERSHOT!!:D.. WOW!! It was a small black coloured one and the moment i saw it.. i fell in love wid it!
It was a wonderful day!! There was not a single moment when i wasnt given a surprise!! I went for a family lunch and had my dearest bua over for dinner!! They got one of the world's yummiest chocolate cake for me :P!! It was deliciously MIND BLOWING!!
But the actual thought that struck me at the end was that i not only got the camera.. but a much bigger and a much more precious gift than that!! It was their trust i got!!
It was one big leap for me! A daughter that they considered 'clumsy' was gifted with such a delicate cam!! It felt actually 'BIG' to be considered responsible enough :)!! At this emotional thought.. my eyes became watery!! It actually made me the feeling of turning 16!! After all you do become a 'major minor' at 16 :D!!
I definitely hope that i will prove myself by keeping the camera safe & sound till my next B'day.. & of course the next few after that :D! The pics added have been of course taken from the same cam & i hope u will like it :)!!
